The location and interior design.

Poor communication - elderly woman who only speaks Spanish. At check in he asked us to wait 1 hour for the cleaning to finish, but at check out he bothered us to leave at the minute, at the specified time. The bathroom is not comfortable - the shower wets the room where the toilet is, the floor and the doors creak. There is a porter in the lodge, but we were called twice during the night. That was disturbing! Luggage storage service is not provided.

The Location is excellent. Centrally, but not noisy. It is not the fancier square of Madrid, with some random people looking weird every now and then, but also did not feel uncomfortable travelling with family. Super Markets just around the corner. Walking to basically all neighborhoods of central Madrid. The Appartment is exactly what you see in the pictures. Yes the bedrooms are on the small side, but I found the matrasses excellent. The view is nice, spacious living room with nice and wide sofa for the whole family. The bathroom compared to the pictures has some extra shelves/places to leave stuff and cosmetics, so it was good. Tv is bigger than in the pictures. All in all a great apartment for a few days, in a great location, and different from the typical sterile "grey appartments" which look like an out of the box Ikea brochure. the two bedrooms offer plenty of sleeping flexibility, even for larger groups.

Could have enjoyed a simple nespresso machine, or a simple toaster, a mile foamer (even manual) but these are all small things and probably just is me. All in all the kitchen is well equipped and sufficient.

Laura was very helpful, she met us due to our late arrival by plane, fulfilled a few of our wishes, welcomed us, explained everything to us... she was really very nice. The only real problem we had was fixed as soon as we reported it. In the apartment, we were greeted with fresh bread, eggs for breakfast, coffee, milk, everything we needed before our first visit to the supermarket. The position is really great. You are in the center, everything you need is within 100 meters, the metro station in front of the entrance to the building, all attractions relatively close.

We chose this facility primarily because of its high rating and its location in the center near the metro station. It's not cheap, but we thought it was worth paying a little more for a spacious apartment in the center with enough beds for 4 people. Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet our expectations, we think that the price is absolutely too high for this type of accommodation. Unfortunately, the photos and reviews misled us. We got the impression that it was a spacious apartment with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay for four people, but unfortunately it is not so. From the very moment we approached the elevator and arrived at the 5th floor, everything seemed a little strange to us. The apartment has its own attic charm, but it is very spartanly equipped. It is spacious, but completely non-functionally decorated. The furniture is mostly old and recycled, the lighting is bad, there are not enough hangers, there are no tables to store things, the chairs are uncomfortable. The beds are small, the rooms are cramped, there are no sockets in the rooms. There are no classic wardrobes. Toilet and bathroom are very tight, without enough hangers, shower with a curtain, floor made of painted concrete. The kitchen is spacious but non-functionally equipped. There are changes in floor level between rooms which are even dangerous in the dark. It is not clear to us how it is possible that this apartment has such a high rating, we think it is undeserved. If position is most important to you, then we definitely recommend this accommodation. Once again we would like to give a big shout out to Laura for her helpfulness.

The location was brilliant. The apartment itself wasn't modern but had character and was very clean.

A central location which enabled us to explore the main sights of Madrid on foot. We liked the creative, vibrant decor and the comfort of the apartment. Plenty of space for 3 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple breakfasts and snacks. Our host was very welcoming and helpful.

Location, awesome feel about the apartment. Washington machine was fantastic!! Laura was so easy to communicate with. Her mum met us and was delightful. We would love to return one day.

What I liked most was its location. My friend and I got the most out of this trip. Right opposite to Tirso de Molina Metro station. Walking distance to Gran Via, Cheuca, Attoca, palace gardens and all the gorgeous museums. Carrefour and Lidl next door to the building plus an array of Tabernas. I recommend that you walk the streets of Madrid to appreciate the grandeur. Such an amazing city. The apartment itself was cosy, yet spacious enough. The owners Laura and mum were extremely sweet, helpful and friendly. I really loved this cute place and would certainly recommend and might even be coming back for another break. One more thing is the apartment has a very good security system. Excellent WiFi!

We found it a little bit tricky to locate the place as there is no name board. It is within an apartment complex opposite to the florists. Building numbers are not very conspicuous in that square either. It is an old building and there just a few stairs involved in addition to the lift. Perhaps a dishwasher may help too as we did use the kitchen a lot.

I was met at the apartment by Laura's mother, who was very warm and friendly and showed me all the features of the apartment. I was able to drop my bags off before check in, which was great. Laura was also very friendly and extremely responsive to my questions both before and during my visit - and also reached out to me the day after check in to ensure everything was going smoothly. I loved the apartment with its cool, quirky decor as well as the view. The beds were also very comfortable. The apartment is also ideally located in a central location opposite a Metro station and very near a supermarket, as well as cafes and bars. I would not hesitate to stay there again when I am next visiting Madrid. Thank you very much!
