"Excellent"

The location is superb - there is a unique view to the Kuopio Kathedral. The Market and Kauppa Halli are in two minute distance. The apartment is very comfortable and lovely. It's well equipped with everything you need for your stay.

"Good value-for-money apartment in a prime location, but a couple of issues that could be improved"

Central location, really comfortable and cosy home away from home. Key pickup was straightforward and owner communications were good and fast.

A couple of things might bother some people staying here. First, the apartment is at street level but the curtains and shutters in the living room do not close fully. Second, whoever designed the apartment made the frankly insane choice to have a floor-to-ceiling, only-just-obscured glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom. The extra light this brings in does not compensate for the complete loss of privacy. A more minor quibble was that there was only a few crumbs of coffee left of what was provided, which was not the most pleasant surprise on the first morning.
