La Literie est indigne : un sommier hors d usage , un matelas plus que défaillant , impossible pour un couple Les volants roulants qui ne fonctionnent pas ( donc lumière la nuit) La ventilation qui n en a que le nom , en permanence une atmosphère humide , moite . Accès à la douche difficile et une porte défaillante Le frigidaire qui n a pas été dégivré

FRAUD – Unsanitary apartment, no support, no refund – SCAM. This is a scam. The apartment was not as listed. I was charged for a service that was never provided. Booking.com does NOTHING.

I booked My Casa Grosso, Nice for 3 nights via Booking.com. After full payment, you are forced through their “approval system” where you're asked to either: Pay a €150 deposit, which they promise to unblock after 14 days, Or pay a non-refundable “security waiver” of €20–25 to avoid the deposit block. I chose the waiver (€21.40), which I paid immediately. Then I arrived for check-in on May 21 at 19:00 – and the apartment was absolutely uninhabitable (see photos): Bed not made Toilet full of filth Used towels scattered around Dirty table, full trash bin Stained, unhygienic sheets Strong unpleasant smell I contacted the host at 19:11 via WhatsApp. Their reply: “I’ll call the cleaning team right now.” I returned after 3 hours, at 22:18, and the apartment was still in the exact same repulsive state. The next message I received: “Sorry, no one is available before tomorrow. I understand if you want to leave and you’ll be fully refunded.” Later, they refunded only the €21.40 waiver, claiming the full amount of €358.11 is non-refundable. Meanwhile, Booking.com has done nothing but send automated emails. I was left stranded in a foreign city, at night, with a child, no place to stay, no support, and no access to the money I paid. I had to pay out-of-pocket for emergency accommodation and could not afford a longer alternative but expensive because of Cannes Festival and Monaco Grand Prix... I immediately contacted Booking.com support. No real help. No refund to this day. Only automated responses, no human contact, no accountability. Just emails written by ChatGPT or some bot. This is a scam. The apartment was not as listed. I was charged for a service that was never provided. Booking.com does NOTHING. This experience caused me severe stress and financial damage. Do NOT book this place. And if Booking doesn’t act, they are part of the fraud.

Location was ok

Sofa bed not fit for anyone to sleep on. It is exceptionally bad & unstable. It did not look clean & bedding was old & worn Towels, pillows, toilet rolls etc very scarce No Glasses at all, scarcety of cutlery, mugs etc Only a couple of inches of space to get around sofa-bed to bathroom Hot water ran out very quickly Very noisy street, all night long Difficult to get in touch with host & were not helpful when we did. No extra pillows available & 1 Towel for our 6 day stay was their policy. €35/40 to replace towels or linen! Instructions for access to apt not clear Shower head faulty Do not stay here. It will ruin your holiday.

"Disappointing"

The drain was clogged on the day of arrival. I raised the issue to the host and got a reply after a day. They required me to send a video to them, which I did, but I haven't received a reply since then. The drain remains clogged throughout my journey which lasts for 5 days. I asked the host where I could find the WIFI password, which is written on the check-in guidance on the heading use very small letters, got a reply after 2 hours after the host saw my message on WhatsApp, with reply like "check the pdf". Took me quite a while to find what he mean by "the pdf" and where exactly the password is. They also use a third-party platform called Swikly to take a 200 EUR deposit, which still hasn't been returned to me now, about one month since I left.

"Disappointed and not value for money"

Had a washing machine machine

No blue chair door identification for entry, dangerous bathroom with poor set-up, damaged shower head and blocked drain, limited manoeuvrability in living due to bed blocking bathroom door, sofa bed only which was uncomfortable, window treatments damaged and used a towel as a curtain, no liners in all bins, no wine glasses and whole apartment was tiny and uncomfortable!
