The location is great - but that's all what can be said for this place. The old building is nice, though all you get from it is an old stair case - they sell atmosphere, but the interior of the department looks rather like a red light district room (if you don't like red, this is not a place for you, if you do like red I still strongly recommend you look for another place! Because this place is truly awful!

The people running this are not concerned at all who is staying (incomprehensible how they good their positive reviews) , the photos are hugely deceptive. Np daylight in the flat and iron bars. Avoid this place! Not sufficient info regrading door code and lockbox - no one there to meet and talk, text message was the best we got for a tricky access. A very busy road, very noisy until late and very early(including restaurants, dust bin collection plus awful smell from several kitchens in the back yard).

Location is excellent. Very comfortable bed. Quiet. Excellent access instructions from Sara.

Limited kitchen equipment. If you have a car, parking is very expensive so best to arrive by public transport.

The location was great for us. The room was truly beautiful. We got to the apartment and there was a coffee machine with snacks and there was water in our fridge. This was very welcoming! The cleanliness was perfect! All the kitchen essentials there if you wanted to cook.

The shower was very awkward to work. The on/off handle was loose which meant it was nearly impossible to set the temperature. The beams above the bed are very low. If you got up in the middle of the night it was very easy to hit your head. Also no railing for the stairs. Again if you needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you had to be extremely careful! I would only book this property for very short stays.

Fantastic location - right in the heart of Lyon with loads of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, boulangeries etc all around. We could walk to many of the museums and attractions in the Old Town. The apartment was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the street. We loved spending time there, it had a good feel. It was the perfect place to rest and relax.

The downside to being at the centre of everything is that we did have quite a lot of noise coming from the bars and restaurants below - most nights until 3.30am. We decided that the property was so lovely and the location was so good that we were willing to put up with a bit of noise and it didn’t bother us too much. We ended up playing our own “sleep music”to drown out the sound and that worked quite well!
