We have visited in August 2024. Great hosts. Fantastic property with a wonderful large garden. Detailed recommendations on walks and attractions. Location is perfect for walks and beaches. We will be back there.

Tim and Boris welcomed us into their home and showed us to our apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and views over the grounds. The gardens were stunning and we were encouraged to enjoy them with our dog. Our stay was very relaxed and probably the most dog friendly venue we have ever stayed in.

Swafield Hall is a beautiful period property. Tim and Boris have restored it to the highest standard with all of its beautiful character features. The room was cosy, relaxing and had everything we needed to cook there for 3 nights. They hosted the Village Fete in their amazing garden which was a really fun community event with a fab band! The location is 15/20 mins to great coastal towns (Sheringham/Cromer) and the same to the Norfolk Broads which were stunning.

We had around a 40 min walk to the closest pub, and the walk is down a disused railway track, nice and quiet, over the canal, but there is a little bit of fast road to walk along to get there. We prefer not to have to drive so much to restaurants, pub, beach, etc. We have two dogs so had to take them down the stairs to the garden when needed. Luckily they didn’t need to go out too late or too early as we didn’t want to disturb Tim and Boris 🙏

We had such a lovely stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and we were made to feel really welcome wandering round the gardens and relaxing with a glass of wine in one of the many areas that are provided. Set in a quiet peaceful area you are not far from some lovely towns and villages hope to return many thanks

We could not thanks Tim and Boris enough for the amazing holidays we had. They put so much love and effort to restoring a historical house and maintaining amazing grounds and garden. Swafield hall has a great rural feel to it yet you are 7 minutes away from 3 big supermarkets if needed. The location is great for exploring the cost 7 min drive to the nearest beach, forests, endless countryside walks, historical houses, churches, seals watching, boat trips, you name it…but the best bit was to come back to the house in the evening and have a glass of wine while walking in the garden and watch a sun set over the Apollo promenade…cannot wait to come back.

Beautifully restored property in magical settings. The garden is stunning and i wish we would see it in the midst of the spring or summer to see the full potential. The hosts were lovely, very helpful. The apartment we had was spacious, with amazing bathroom. I loved the bath. Bed is super comfy and big. Owners are dog friendly, and they own two friendly dogs themselves. Kitchen had pretty much everything. Has a potential to be full 10 with attention to details. Overal, we had a lovely time.

The place wasn't as clean as I expected. The carpets in the apartment needed a serious hoovering, as it had visible collection of hair from previous guests, especially around the bed legs. Also carpets outside of the apartment needed good hoovering as well. Hence the 8 rating. At last, near the main house there is a construction within the land, however there wasn't any noise or bother from it, just a visible construction site upon arrival.
