Clean little apartment with basic but functional facilities.

Had to repair the bed before we could use it. Someone had removed several of the wooden matress support slats from the bed ( they are held in plastic fitting and can't just fall off ) and I fell through it when I sat on the mattress. The slats were on the floor under the bed. Had to remove the mattress and slat holders to refit the slats. Very noisy location. For a small town, the flat is right on the corner of the two main ways into the center of the town. The windows do little to keep out the sound of the traffic and people. There is also the clock tower across the street, that if you are a light sleeeper like my partner, you will hear the clock chime every hour. Bought some ear plugs for the second night.

Ruth was helpful on the phone. The flat smelt clean and was well laid out and tidy. It was well equipped. We were able to book last minute and it met our needs for visiting family close by.

The code on the key safe had been changed without letting us know. If we had arrived later this would have been a problem. Directions were poor, the cafe had changed names and the workweek shop next door had gone. Car parking was difficult. Although there was a council car park I had to run out at 8am to put a ticket on the car. One morning we got blocked in! The entrance hall was really dirty. It was noisy at night and early morning with the town clock chiming opposite, traffic and a few people outside. I appreciate that these matters were outside the control of the host.

Good central location in town centre.

Location was great for us as we were meeting friends at a campsite just , 10 mins away

Hot tap was actually the cold tap and vice versa, easily fixed by swapping the feeds to the basin 👍😁

I loved the apartment, it was in a great location, close to everything I needed.

I didn't like the entrance into the building it wasn't clean and looked awful, I didn't think the bedding had been changed and there was still rubbish in it from the last people who had stayed there.

Location good in centre of town and pub across she road allowed us to park there.

Nearly ran out of toilet paper and would have appreciated teas and coffee available.

The kitchen had everything you needed for a short break

The hallway entrance was very grubby and covered in cobwebs. The bed frame needs replacing, although the mattress was comfortable.

Location was perfect for exploring the island cozy clean all amenities nearby aswel as some beautiful little walks

Windows/sound The noise with staying over the weekend so kinda expected in this location along side the clock tower ringing both Carnt really be helped other than better windows but manageable a previous reviews highlighted bathroom tap
