Very well maintained.

Very noisy traffic . Shop deliver at 1.15 am.

Apartment was very clean and well equipped

The small, self contained flat was spotless, comfortable and in excellent condition. Ruth, the owner was helpful and welcoming. Location was in the middle of the town, easy to find places to eat. Public parking was inexpensive and by the old railway station, free. The Asda supermarket was within easy walking distance.

1) Booking.com sent the wrong code for the key lock box, but a phone call to Ruth got that sorted. 2) The passages to the flats had flakes of plaster on the floor all the time we were there. The stairs and walls needed painting. 3) There was a smoker in another flat despite notices saying smoking was illegal. 4) Traffic was busy outside the flat. 5) The clock tower chimes were sometimes a little annoying in the middle of the night. 6) Often the outside door to the street was left open by others.

central to the town. Cafe downstairs makes great coffee.

Lot of traffic noise.
