"A lovely property in a good position in town, but only for the fit."

Central position and parking very close by. Washing machine in the flat, lots of places to eat nearby

4th floor but no lift. Great difficulty in finding the property on arrival as full address was not supplied. Host was helpful on the phone though.

Comfortable flat in a great location. The kitchen was very well equipped.

It was fine for me on my own but if I had been sharing with a partner I think they would have struggled due to the sloping ceiling in the bedroom. Also it was a bit of a struggle up the stairs;61, I counted them! with my luggage. The lift wasn't working.

"Super accommodation in the heart of Buxton - perfect base if you're there for the BIF."

The location is perfect - right next to the town hall and near a parking lot and close to downtown. I was there for the Buxton International Festival, and the location was 5 mins' walk from the Opera House. The flat was super clean and it looks lovely inside, with lush carpets in the rooms.

Because it is in the middle of town, there could be some noise. If there for the Buxton Carnival weekend, note that there is a fun fair on the parking lot just opposite the flat. They do stop promptly at 21:30 on week nights and around 23:00 on the weekend, so just put in some earplugs if you go to bed early. Or go and have a drink in town before going back. :) The flat is on the third floor and the stairs are rather steep, and the lift does not work (not sure if it is temporary or permanent). So if that is an issue, keep it in mind. However, the height makes for a great view.
