Easby Hall 22

Size of flat, we were in 4 (2adults+2 kids) and it was enough space for everyone. The only thing I can recommend is to change sofa for sofa bed, then order kids can sleep on full size bed instead of toddler size.

The smell-it is on the lower ground floor so I guess it is because of that. Overall it is a nice place to stay for a night or two:)

Apartment is really roomy, very homely, lots of storage space includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooking facilities also had free wifi. Upon arrival it was very clean, there were plenty of towels left for our stay and there was also soap, washing liquid etc which aren't always left in other accommodation. The bench on the terrace outside us a nice touch to enjoy the last minute sun on an evening.

The hot water is absolutely diabolical, followed the instructions in the guest information booklet and you were still lucky to get a kettle full of hot water. Both nights we've had to boil the kettle to wash baby's bottle or run a bath for the children and we've had to have cold showers. The hot water definitely needs looking at as it was bad enough for 2 nights but I couldn't imagine have to do that for a longer stay. Along with this we requested a cot which wasn't there upon arrival, messaged them and asked about this they said they would drop it in the next day, surprise surprise still no cot, I emailed them that evening to ask about it and they just ignored my email.

It was convenient. It had everything you needed in the rooms

It wasn’t the cleanest. The bed was so uncomfortable. There was no hot water. It said to press a button which took 40 minutes to heat up which we didn’t have. The doors are so hard to close they are really stiff and drag along the floor as you push them closed. The staff do not reply to messages. And the key box is such a walk, it’s not just around the corner as they said which is such a mess about when you are trying to check in and get out. The last and worst thing it smelt so fusty it was awful.

Close to Scarborough spa which is the location we needed to be, was nice that they provided a few toilet rolls as my kids seem to race through them, also washing up liquid and hand wash etc Hosts promptly sorted out a parking permit within 30 mins of me ringing as there wasn't one in the property, downside was i had to stay in my car while they sorted it as traffic wardens on the prowl

Found vape in the childrens bed which is really not good!, fair amount of mould in bathroom tiles, both next to bath and bathroom floor,no hot water in the morning from the bath or shower which was a nightmare given we are in a heatwave, dust on most surfaces,also the key safe is nowhere near the property and is a 5 minute walk to collect it which doesn't sound too far but is quite inconvenient

Bit of messing about trying to find it and then having to go and pick keys up, sofa bed not very comfy

Hosts held some bags for us the day before, went above and beyond - 10/10. Thank you very much!

Location was good,The owner was really helpful when it came to picking up and depositing the keys The bed was really comfortable. Teabags. oil to cook with.

The sofa bed ( which was clearly very good quality ) had large stains on the cushions, I understand that you wouldn't want to get rid of a top quality sofa bed because of that but surely you could have it recovered or replace the cushion covers? There were three people staying in the apartment but there was only one toilet roll in the bathroom which I thought (for the price that we were paying) was more than a bit stingy. I also would have thought that there would have been some complimentary milk to make tea and coffee with, but there wasn't I had to go out to the shops in the morning so that we could have a cuppa. Part of the price was made up of a £60 cleaning charge, the bath was hardly what you would call spotless and I noticed while lying in bed that there were plenty of cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, £60.........? Outside, to left of the front door there was a full to the brim ashtray which made the entrance look like a bit of a doss house which it clearly wasn't but it didn't do much for the initial image

Loved the location, the apartment was the right size. Beds comfortable. Decent sized kitchen and bathrooms right size. The apartment was clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Very nice apartment, perfect for a short stay. Clean and comfortable with good facilities, 5 monute walk to the shops and only a 15/20 minute walk into town.

Only drawback was that the email detailing access to the apartment and parking instructions didn't arrive (not in junk) resulting in us incurring parking costs.
