Chinley End Farm

1. I liked that the owner came to greet us halfway through our stay! 2. The balcony is nice and spacious. Can have lunch and hang clothes to dry in the provided rack. 3. Bed is as described, an extra large double bed! 4. Wardrobes are big and sturdy. 5. Kitchen is well stocked with all utensils and cutlery. 6. Free parking! 7. Londis and indian takeout literally downstairs. 8. Clean 9. Washing machine is great 10. Oven is superb. 11. Hob is gas and electric lighter provided 12. Nice view! 13. Blackout curtains. 14. Plenty of sockets, including next to each side of the bed! 15. Shower works fine and is easy to use, water warms up quickly. 16. It's a nice and quiet area, can barely hear anything going on outside thanks to the noise cancelling windows, slept very well thanks to that! 17. You can buy the paintings if you like them, there's price tags. Awesome. 18. Property seemed clean throughout, even the carpeted area under the master bedroom's bed! 19. Hand wash and hand towel provided in the kitchen. Very well thought out!! 20. Kitchen even had a drying towel 21. Feels like home and the owner thought of small details, which is very nice 22. Shortbread biscuits were very much appreciated! 23. Instructions throughout the house from how to lock the door from the inside to how to separate the bins, + other detailed instructions booklet in the living room on how to use other appliances like oven and dishwasher, thank you!

1. The chef knife is blunt and dangerous to use. 2. The peeler doesn't peel. 3. The alternative peeler blade, the one that looks like a knife, comes off. 4. Bowls are all very small: can't have cereal in them properly. 5. Not enough towels given for a week's stay. 6. No bath mat. 7. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work; so you'll end up with foggy mirrors everywhere after a shower and can't open the windows. 8. Cutlery organiser is dirty 9. Room light is dim, lamps are brighter. Needs a brighter room light. 10. Creaky floors, but I think there is no one downstairs as it is a garage? 11. Door and lock don't look very sturdy or safe.

Nothing everything was perfect

Cosy accommodation with log fire. Nice area and good parking on property.

Lounge very saggy and needed replacing, could feel the wooden frame.

The location in the centre of the village was ideal for our needs

The leather sofas were very low to the floor and uncomfortable. The outside light could have been set up to come on before walking down the side of the flat ( but this is nit-picking!)

Chinley end farm is a lovely little flat with everything you need. Location is perfect for a family looking to get away for a few nights. Thank you for a lovely stay.
