Sunbury Aviemore

Excellent Host Communication and easy instructions for key access. The property itself is a full house with all facilities available to use (ie dishwasher, washing machine, fridge etc). It is located in suburbia and close (by car) to the main street of Aviemore. There are downstairs' and upstairs toilets which is a bonus in the UK. Parking is onsite in a dedicated driveway (also a luxury in the Uk).

Lack of hooks/hanging rails for bath towels which is a problem when staying with 5 adults. The back door needs trimming down as it "sticks" badly and needs to be pushed hard/slammed to close. TV instructions confusing due to number of remotes and slightly ambiguous instructions but worked fine once up and running.

The location was great - close to a local shop and food outlet and it was walkable into Aviemore town too. There is lots to do in the area. The living room and kitchen were spacious and the garden was lovely - the perfect spot for a morning coffee. Paul was very responsive and provided helpful suggestions on things to do in the area. We also loved the Scottish artwork on display around the house.

The kitchen was missing some utensils that would have made cooking easier (baking sheet, grater etc). The bedrooms, while perfectly adequate, were on the small side.

Very pleasant property ideal location for family members to travel to. Rooms spacious, furniture of a good quality. Electrical appliances of an excellent quality. All slept well in supplied beds.

Instructions in kitchen better typed, confusion between Q & @ on password for internet. Non slip bath mat gross.

Everything was home from home Very clean, well equipped with everything you need. lovely decking at the back with 2 seats and a table and a handful of plastic chairs, plenty of seats for everyone.. Check-in and check out were easy. Paul was great at communicating before the holiday he answered questions before we stayed and told us about places to eat, etc. Coop is just round the corner, with a chip shop, pizza place. all the other shops, about 20 min walk or plenty places to park in the town. The house is in a lovely quiet street. Perfect place for a base for exploring outside of avimore.
