Sunbury Aviemore

- Surprisingly roomy property inside with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Clean, modern and comfortable. - Keys were available in a lockbox by the back door, with the host providing the code and helpful information for our visit in advance by e-mail - Private parking out front and a garden with decking out back - Powerful (if noisy!) shower with helpful markings to show how high to turn the temperature gauge and fluffy towels - Easy walking distance into Aviemore. Area was quiet and felt safe at night - Wifi signal excellent and we enjoyed relaxing with Netflix in the evening

Some very minor things: - More hooks in the bathroom would have been appreciated (to be fair, this was lacking in all of the properties that we stayed in during our Scotland trip!) - The stairs felt a little on the steep side, particularly when coming down, so do make use of the rails - It was only when we arrived at the property and read the information sheets in the kitchen that we found out that we would need to both strip the bedding and take out the rubbish ourselves at the end of our stay. So do factor in the time to do this on the day that you check out

Great location close to the centre of Aviemore, great kitchen, plenty of space, very clean. Excellent base for a weekend of hiking in the exceptional Cairngorm National Park.

Sunbury is in a great central location. There is a coop in walking distance which was really handy aswell. The house itself was very spacious, big enough for 5 of us, and my boys loved playing in the garden. very quiet at night. We all loved our stay at Sunbury and will be back again in the future.

everything was really good . is looking much better than on the photos . lovely rooms .Nice kitchen and garden

shower is too noise . you have to take off the bedding yourself because of covid but then someone has to touch the bedding to put it in the washing machine anyway? cleaning staff was not friendly

The check in with the key safe was easy. The house was bigger than I expected. The owner replied to messages really quickly. It was comfortable and warm. The separate toilet downstairs is really big and could have had a shower in it.

The kitchen didn't have a jug or second tray for a pizza for example. There was no clothes drying rack.

Very clean, great location
