Excellent location right in the centre of town. Spacious apartment. Good value for money.

Unfortunately the oven and shower weren't as clean as they could and should have been, which was such a shame as otherwise the facilities were very good.

Not very clean

The location of the property was perfect for me. I went to a wedding at the registry office and then to the evening venue Elsworth at the Mill and the property is in walking distance to both. The apartment was very spacious.

The apartment looked clean at first glance, but the more I looked the more grubby I found it. The bathroom needs a really good deep clean. The proximity of the very sharp sink corner to the toilet is dangerous - someone could really hurt themselves on that sink. It is extremely hard to regulate the water temperature in the shower, especially if you don't want the big overhead shower head on - you can't turn the temperature dial because the other dials are in the way, so I was trying to wash myself with near boiling water trying not to scald myself. Also, there seemed to be no cold water available from the bathroom sink - no matter which way I turned the tap or how long I let the water run, the water was constantly warm so I was brushing my teeth with warm water. The bed was uncomfortable. The whole apartment smelled foisty. I went to open the window in the bedroom and the window won't stay open, so I ended up having to prop it open with a vase. I wasn't there long enough to use the kitchen/living room so I can't comment on these areas, but the bedroom and bathroom really let me down.

The entry floor dirty, stairs carpet needed cleaning. Oven in accommodation too dirty to use. Freezer completely iced up with one drawer dirty with large spill . Mould in hinges and seal. Old rubbish in a cupboard. Cupboard shelves grimey in places. The kitchen particularly needed a thorough clean. Standard of cleanliness and hygiene of great concern.
