Host & Stay - The Birds Nest

The location is brilliant, ideal base for staying in whitby and for touring, modern and airy apartment with parking.

Place needs a deep clean, base on the bed needs replacing, every time you turn over during the night it creaks

Clean and tidy, great location.

Sloping roof over bed No shelf in shower/bathroom Julie balcony window let far too much light in early morning disturbing sleep Wardrobe very small with only a few hangers meaning had to leave quite a lot in suitcase High tv mounting led to neck ache looking up Needed a fan as was very hot Parking space very tight

It was modern , ok for few days away , furnishings were nice . Ten minutes walk to centre on the flat no hills. Parking is a huge bonus in Whitby

Space above bed was a nightmare to navigate as I’m quite tall , very little space to put clothes . No draws and wardrobe was like small child’s .

Clean . Good location

The position of the bed. Had to bend under the eaves to get in. Not really suitable for elderly. Should state that it had 2 flights of stairs

Great location. Street is fairly quiet but the centre of Whitby is a pleasant walk away. Lovely views to the abbey.

Parking space only suits a small car. Coffee machine in photos has been removed and no coffee provided upon arrival. Hairdryer was missing. “Fully equipped kitchen” had only one kitchen knife - a bread knife - and one teaspoon; perhaps this was why I was sent advertising for a private chef? Bathroom drains have a very strong smell.

Ideally located for the centre of Whitby

Not too struck on the low ceilings around the bed, not moaning as I was aware before I went but still becomes an obstacle when caught short at 4:00am! 😂
