Four Zero Six @ Ryedale House

The property was perfect for our stay. It had 2 beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect as it was a short walk to everything.

Could do with 2 tea towels instead of 1 for drying up.

The apartment was very plush & comfortable & location very good.

Having no hot water & then having to press some boost switch & then taking over an hour to warm up. Especially with us going out & not able to get a shower on time .Television kept switching itself off . { someone did come up & sort the problems though & stay York were very helpful}.

Fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. It made walking into York perfect for my elderly parents. The apartment is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. And York was such a fab city to visit and explore. Also a huge shout out to Angela the concierge who couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.

The beds were a little soft for me, but think that’s a personal preference

Amazing central location for York. Short walk away from every attraction, restaurant and bar Both bedrooms great along with bathrooms. All you could want in the main lounge/dining area - Fab views

Just remember to display your parking permit!! Pillows a little flat and no others available

Location was very good, apartment was nicely furnished with nice views. The fob to get into the building didn’t work but luckily there was a concierge outside who let us in. We ended up having to call for a replacement fob which wasn’t a great start to the stay. Beds were ok but smaller than we are used to. There was not enough hot water for the four of us to have a shower in the morning. We ended up having to wash with the water off and turn on again to rinse the soap off. We used the immersion button as advised but that didn’t help. TV had a delay but we managed to sort this by turning on and off again. Above the wardrobe in main bedroom was covered in thick dust, we found this out when putting out bags up there to store them.

Self catering - no breakfast

Extractor fans in bath/shower/kitchen rooms did not work - York Stays told us there was a problem throughout the building; the concierge employed by the building owner told us this was not true! The toilet roll holder was stained with urine splashes; we asked for it to be cleaned. The cleaner told York Stays that it was 'rust'; it wasn't. I ended up cleaning it myself with wash-up liquid and a sponge. Photographic evidence is available We reported a broken (cracked) ceramic tile in the smaller en suite; this was treated with disinterest.

The agency and staff on site were exceptional. Beautiful apartment and absolutely perfect location. Will definitely be coming again.

The messged we recived did not make Much sense atall & nobody was available on the desk to Ask. Felt like we was on the game show Crystal mase trying to Figure it out. Once we did I couldn’t fault anything else
