Fabulous apartment in a perfect location

The bed in the main bedroom was very low but it was comfortable.

Beautiful apartment,great location. Beds were really comfortable. Secure Allocated parking space is a bonus. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Xmas tree and decorations were a welcome extra . Would definitely recommend a stay here .

Beautiful apartment, everything top class lovely extra was the Christmas tree and tasteful decorations, ideally situated, within walking distance of places of interest, also very convenient car park.

There was only one thing that could be improved, the water system could be regulated to ensure there is hot water first thing in the morning and also evening, we did use the booster as recommended but had to wait for the water to get hot.

Good location was good, excellent facilities , overall a really comfortable base to get around York

I have to say I was disappointed in the welcome hamper, on previous stays, there was a lovely box of delights awaiting us. This time it was a paper bag with a couple of coffee, tea bags, biscuits. Honestly not worth having. But the biggest issue was 2 mornings we woke up to no hot water🥶 we checked the information book and followed the instructions, later in the day we had hot water. It also happened on the last morning of our stay, so we did not have time to wait for it to heat up, no point contacting the host at this stage, but with a very ill husband to care for, it does make life difficult 🤬

Perfect location to visit the Christmas market and small independent shops and easy walk to some lovely cafes for breakfast and for lunch and dinner out. Spacious apartment well equipped and beautiful Christmas tree and festive decorations added to our stay.

Nothing we did not like

Our apartment was spacious, beautiful, spotlessly clean, with every comfort we could need. A designated and secure parking space was a great bonus. We loved the view over the River Fosse, and the closeness to several excellent restaurants.

We had an elderly relative with us, who wanted to watch terrestrial TV. We were unable to find it on the television in the lounge.

Great location.

Beggars in the doorway. Other people’s food left in the cupboard. Larger bedroom bed, sunk in the middle. Foxes outside howling, kept waking me up.

Great location, very clean. Clear instructions.

We were 2 couples from Australia so space for suitcases and storage was an issue esp in the smaller room. A few clothes hangers would have been appreciated. Having to remove the rubbish was an eye opener - isn’t that what the cleaning costs cover?

Great views over the river. Decorated and furnished to a really high standard. Everything was that that we needed to enjoy our stay.
