2 Sea View Margate

Second time staying here and we would not hesitate to return. Fantastic location. Lots of space. Great facilities. Comfy mattress. Would recommend!

The property was lovely, comfortable and clean. The arcade games and the spa bath are a great touch. The sea view from the master bedroom is amazing.

The location was good and the apartment was spacious.

We were looking forward to a 2 night stay as we were celebrating a birthday and going to an event at Dreamland. With the flat being self catering we bought some bits of food and drink with us so we could make breakfast and coffee. We went to check in just before 4pm (check in was at 3pm) and there was a young man in there cleaning. We let this go as we understand sometimes things overrun. We went out for a wander and came back and tried to make a cup of coffee. There was no kettle, just a filter machine that provided hot and cold water. This wouldn’t work as the filter needed changing. We messaged the owner who suggested we used the hob to heat water, this took over 20 mins on a poor induction hob. She ordered a kettle which we received the following evening so only used it on the last morning. We are convinced the bedding and towels weren’t fresh. There was a horrible smell and one of us found a sweet that had been left in the bed. We had paid over £300 for 2 nights and clean sheets and towels are an absolute basic. Based on this alone we would sadly not recommend this apartment which is a shame as the location is great and there is plenty of space and potential to be a decent place. There is however a premier inn that is in a great location and has a car park. (We also didn’t appreciate the half used butter greeting us in the fridge and half a box of cornflakes etc. Please throw away previous people’s open foods. We don’t want it. )

Location was great Seaview and on top of everything, shops bars restaurants dream all within 5 minutes walk and sea was opposite. Size of apartment was fantastic with every amenity you would want

Nothing 2 do with the accommodation but it wad 2 far away from where I needed to be which is a shame I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation
