Picardy Place Apartment

Excellent location but apartment very tired. Shower not good and bed uncomfortable. You are paying for the location.

Decoration very dated and communal entrance not inviting. Worst shower ever.

What an amazing location for Edinburgh! Hard to imagine a more convenient base. Everything you need to see/do/eat is round the corner, starting with the host's restaurant that is great, reasonably priced and just downstairs. Because of the proximity to the train station we also managed easy days out to Glasgow, Stirling and St Andrews too. Hosts were friendly, helpful and responded to queries immediately. Loved the cleanliness of the flat and equipment too. Beds were really comfortable and there was lots of space. Heating system was perfect and easy to use. Having two big tables was really useful for us. There was enough space to do laundry and leave things to air.

The sofa bed was brilliant for one but we tried for two adult children and that may have been a step too far for their comfort! WiFi variable through flat, fine in lounge area though.

Location was great and the place lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for Giovanna.

There wasn't anything, we were happy with our stay.

Great location with very good sized rooms

Neat and clean property located in the city centre. Just 10-12 min walk from the Waverley train station. Giovanna is a great host. I would highly recommend.
