clean self contained and at a great location not too warm considering the outside temperature good fast wifi

bed was a bit squeaky. I’m a restless sleeper so the neighbours must have thought I was having a better night than I actually was. having said that … I did oversleep the next day :)

The apartment is in an excellent location. Ten minute walk from Edinburgh Waverly train station, tram station outside and numerous restaurants, takeaways and pubs nearby. Tesco Express is about 100yds away. Property is spotless. Giovanna the owner replies straight away to any queries via the text function on the app and is extremely helpful. Highly recommended

Giovanna (the host) was very accommodating and she replies quickly to questions or concerns even late at night Checking in was not a problem at all. The location of the flat was excellent - walking distance from everywhere which is very convenient. The flat was generally clean.

Beds weren’t that comfortable - but up to personal preference We travelled as a group of 4 and Giovanna kindly prepared three beds for us (two beds in the room and one sofa bed in the living room). What disappointed me so much was my boyfriend who was the only one who slept in the sofa bed developed hives after the first night of sleeping in the flat. We tried to rule out everything before coming up with the conclusion that it might be bed bugs - we all ate the same food, same water to shower etc but he was the only one who slept in the sofa bed. He tried to sleep there again the second night and that’s when it got really worse (see photos attached). I informed Giovanna regarding this however, she insisted that it might be allergy to the sheets as this is the first time it has happened. I told her that it might not have happened before however, we could have been the first. After checking out, we consulted a doctor online who diagnosed that it could have been bed bugs. I felt as a customer that she was not being open to an honest feedback such as this. She was not very helpful to create a solution to the concern I have raised. Some of the house rules I thought was a bit much - after booking, I was informed that we had to collect all the rubbish in the flat and take it outside of the building to the bin which is located on the next street. First time we’ve stayed in an apartment/airbnb with such a rule.

property is very clean spotless throughout. Beds very comfortable. Host had left tea and coffee and other items for our stay. Host replied to messages within minutes and was very helpful. Bathrooms were very clean also- host provided towels for us which was great.

Nothing apart from there being no lift. Apartment was on third floor, was a lot of stairs to climb.

The host was fantastic and the location was perfect. There is a Tesco express around the corner which came in handy. The apartment has everything you need and is bigger than the pictures.

The beds were not very comfortable but that's just down to preference.
