No heating in the downstairs bedroom. Lock did not work In bathroom. Been Woking up at 7am to move our car from car space so they could change the skip.

Spacious, comfortable beds, easy to control heating, gorgeous sofa in the living room, lots of plug sockets, allocated parking, quiet despite very convenient location, great communication from hosts.

Two single beds rather than a double in one of the bedrooms would have made it perfect, but we knew it was two doubles when we booked. Also bedrooms would benefit from curtains in addition to blinds.

We paid almost £400 for a weekend break during which the four of us were attending a convention. This meant we needed to be up in the morning and out showered and ready. The hot water did not work and I sent a message at 7.19 a.m. wanting urgent support. There was no response and so the four of us had to leave in the morning without having had a shower and also with a wash basin full of dirty water (from shaving that morning) in the bathroom sink, because the plug was stuck, rendering it unusable for anyone else. My urgent message was not acted on - or even acknowledged - and so, several hours later, I had to come out of the convention in order to make a phone call for assistance. The phone number listed on the Booking.com page does not work and it was only by my working out who to contact that I managed to get through to anyone. The crockery in the house is far from adequate for four people. There are only three breakfast bowls for four people, and there is a meagre amount of other items, so you have to wash something up to reuse it rather than having a reasonable supply of crockery. The lock on the downstairs bathroom door is broken and has not been repaired. Some of the kitchen plug sockets - which are clearly the cheapest ones available - do not work. In addition to this, one of the legs on the dining room chair is almost coming off and is unsafe. We're not overly fussy. We have rented accommodation many times over the years and this is the first time I have ever felt the need to request a refund because of the poor quality of both the contents and the property management. They have replied to my complaint and promised that they will get a response from the management but, 5 weeks later, I've given up waiting.
