Anything but the norm. Excellent location for a peaceful get away.

The Gatehouse Lodge is an immaculate, spacious home with a luxurious kitchen and beautiful views of the river. Our stay included views of an entertaining flock of sheep, and good weather for the river walk trail. We enjoyed trying out the AGA hob, the soaking tub and rainfall shower, snacking on the welcome basket foods (especially the local butter), and visiting landmarks with the Lodge as our homey base-of-operations. Highly, highly recommended.

It might be nice to have better instructions for using the door keys and turning down the heat. But overall, it was perfect.

Nothing

Everything perfect, even set up the travel cot and there is safety gates in the living room. Everything you need and more is in that home! Loved every single minute, the home has so much character. Thank you

It was lovely and quiet, and also cosy, there was milk in the fridge for the (very) much needed cup of tea for the story weather we arrived to - closest town a couple of mins drive down the road, so supermarkets, pubs and restaurants all within reach!
