Wonderful cozy cottage awesome country side views.Slept very well indeed. Decent owner made me feel at home lovely place.

Really hospitable place, we arrived late and were kindly met by lights on and door unlocked so didn’t have to rummage for keys in the dark. Milk and cake were very welcome too. We were ideally located for helping to prepare for a family wedding and the Garden’s Rest provided the space we wanted. Recommend Loddon for supplies including a couple of suitable spots for breakfast - we found Rosy Lee’s really friendly.

Nothing really. Maybe a blanket for the bed? It was really suitable for what we needed.

Mark is an absolutely amazing host. He did look after me and my friend very well. As a welcome gift we received a cake 🎂 🎂 Lovely gesture

Rented for friends who were delighted to stay there. A lovely little cosy let in the country. Clean, tidy, private with nothing to fault

Super clean, Mark even left the heating and lights on and welcomed me as I was late arriving. The location is quiet and easily accessible for work in Bungay. The milk and sweet treat left was most welcome. Sky TV and streaming services available. A full kitchenette is at your disposal and plenty of space for 2 people. The mattress was super comfortable.

Minor points: As described the hot water takes 40 seconds to kick in. The towel rail is a tad loose on the wall and situated too close to the toilet (just me being a germaphobe), the shower pressure I am used to does not match the electric shower pressure (minor) and the pillows slightly soft for my liking as I use hard memory foam. Finally sachets of body wash and shampoo would have given the finishing touch to this wonderful stay as I forgot my shampoo....but just me being picky that's all.

The host Mark is a genuine, helpful and positive host. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature. The facilities are excellent.

That the weekend went so fast

Brilliant place, friendly host, well equipped, clean, comfortable, quiet. Could not fault the place.
