Heart of Hastings Historic Old Town

Location was great.

The place was filthy. Had not been cleaned from the last people. Was not prepared to sleep on other people dirty sheets so we could not stay there. Cancelled and booked somewhere else. Still waiting for a refund! The upkeep of the property was also awful. Damp on the walls, hole in the ceiling, huge crack on the walls. How they can advertise this is beyond me. Worst place I've seen. Customer service also awful!!

loved the location and the big rooms- plus it was good value for money.

it was a bit dirty when we moved the sofa a little and we could have done with a couple of extra toilet rolls and more bits and bobs in the kitchen- like glasses and maybe a few condiments etc. also could have used some instructions for the heating and things.

Great location, powerful shower.

The place has bad mould issues, and therefore smells bad. It is poorly equipped - no water glasses in the kitchen; we had to request a hairdryer which was delivered on day 2 and was in very poor condition; no bins in the bedrooms; when the bathroom door is closed one of the bedroom doors won’t open; the bathroom door was sticky and several of our party got trapped in the bathroom for some minutes.

The location is very good and it is a big place. The facilities were good. Just what we needed with a young family. Quite area and very close to the beach.

Some bits need a bit of TLC but very good and comfy overall.

the flat was lovely, the rooms were spacious & beds were comfortable. there was a Tv and wifi which was great. The flat was clean when we arrived, good facilitates eg plates/cups etc. when we arrived the heating and hot water didn’t work, but this was promptly sorted by a handyman and the communication and timing was good.

there were some areas of the flat that needed some TLC such as a hole in the ceiling in one of the rooms, with evidence of a leak, and some damp and evidence of leaking in the other bedroom. The letterbox had no shutter on it, which left a hole in the front door which made it very cold especially when the heating wasn’t working

Good location for Old Hastings. Adequate rooms and facilities. Great place for a few nights stop over.

No glass tumblers but plenty of wine glasses!

The whole place is amazing set right in the heart of hastings old town near the shops and the historic back streets fantastic nothing was to much trouble

Lovely place. Very pleased.

The sofa bed is horrible I must say. Best to delete it from your details as it is unusable as a bed. A pair of small scissors to open food packaging would be a nice addition to your already well equipped kitchen.
