Host & Stay - The Lealholm at Brunswick Holiday Apartments

Everything was excellent, credit to the owners.

The apartment was great and very near the centre of Whitby Getting into the main door and the apartment itself was very easy and we did like the fact that it was all on codes so no keys to worry about Once in, the quality of the apartment was much better than most and done to a high quality finish Lots of space and well laid out with everything we needed

Cost - we weren't happy at all that once we had booked what we agreed was a fair price, and paid that immediately, we received an email and found out that a £250 (damages) deposit was required. What is really annoying is the 'drip pricing' tactic of then informing us that £10 was non-refundable for an administration fee by a company called 'Superhog' - absolutely shocking! Cleanliness - we found toothpaste on the sink and taps and even a huge bogey stuck on the side of one of the sinks; disgusting. There was, what looked like, sugar on the couch and the side tables still had sticky ring marks on them. In the cupboards was a small bowl and a mug that looked like they hadn't been washed ever; not what we expect when we pay good money for a service Size of Bed - I'm only 5'8" and my wife is 4'8" but we still found the bed to be very small Faulty Bedside light - when I tried my light, it started to flicker and when I moved the cable it went off. Moving the cable again it came on and then off; obvioulsy a loose connection somewhere and does provide a risk of an electrical shock!

Location was great for us good didn’t need a key as there was 3 of us

Only cleaned to a very basic level. Turned fan on and it blew dust all over room and clothes, lots of cobwebs and hair on floor.

well maintained, had everything we needed, clean, comfortable, stunning bathroom :)

Having a small dining table would be useful.

Great location, large living space, bright and airy.

Whilst almost everything there for self catering could do with an oven.

The apartment was beautifully clean and well presented.

Perhaps a little bit of a noisy location for small children due to the pub opposite. Although this did not bother us.
