Clean and spacious

The property was excellent in many ways and enjoyed an exceptional bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sitting room/kitchen area was well laid out and functional. The garden and its furniture was pretty but would have benefited from some TLC and refreshment. The setting was wonderfully peaceful with easy access to Stamford and Rutland reservoir.

The water was not hot enough for a really hot bath, remaining only tepid in temperature despite allowing for the water to run for plenty of time. DIY type noise disturbance for from the main house for 20-30 minutes when trying to watch the TV one evening was irritating. The cat was very keen to enter the property at any opportunity, which was a problem for us. The weather was very warm and we needed to keep the doors open, which did not help the problem.

We had a lovely long weekend here. Accommodation was situated in a lovely village, good location for exploring the Rutland & Grantham areas. Accommodation was excellent, lovely furnishings, very comfortable and with all facilities you would need. Spotlessly clean. Garden was very dog friendly and secure. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.

For a longer stay I would want some kind of freezer to use.

Perfect private annexe. Decorated and furnished to the highest quality and just a generally very peaceful place to stay with everything we needed. Very accommodating for the puppy we brought too.
