Douglas House Apartments

Apartment was like pictured and described, we were pleased.

Only minus for us were heavy doors closing itself in between all rooms, so our 3 years old was not able to move around apartment freely and it caused some frustration.

This was a self catering apartment which was really close to the beach. It was very clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. I really appreciated a welcome email from the hosts to make sure everything was satisfactory on my arrival.

Honestly I don't have any points to make.

Location was great everything on your doorstep. It was very quiet in the apartment. we just stayed for three nights to explore the beaches. Train station was a 10 minute walk away to get back to the airport. Dave was friendly, welcoming and on call for any issues. After we left we thought we had left an item at the apartment and they were more than happy to look for it. Thanks for a great oasis

Apartment well equipped. Clean.

The floor and doors make lots of noise so during the night, it can wake up others.

Great location everything was within walking distance in town ,,,we drove to lossiemouth ,,found a great turkish cafe bistro food was delicious in Nairn Mr tans chinese take away was delicious , Nairn is a great place love everything about it

Sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sehr gute Ausstattung, tolle Küche, Parkplatz vor dem Haus, schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, unproblematischer Self-Checkin and-out Unser Sohn hat das vielfältige Fernsehprogramm mit Streamingdiensten sehr genossen :-) Ein von vorherigen Gästen beschädigtes Schlaf - Sofa wurde umgehend ausgetauscht. Zentrum mit Läden und Kneipen in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Nairn ist als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Ausflüge ideal.

Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass die Küche komplett ausgestattet war und ich alles hatte, was ich brauchte. Die Wohnung war hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Ich habe mich wie zu Hause gefühlt

Appartamento delizioso e molto curato, in centro a Nairn, località deliziosa con splendide spiagge chiare. L’appartamento è dotato di tutto, anche caffè, the, latte e qualche biscotto squisito in omaggio. Letti comodi e ampio parcheggio sotto casa. Un posto ideale per soggiornare anche per un periodo più lungo del nostro che avevamo solo pochi giorni. Checkin e check out comodissimo con cassetta e codice.

The apartment we stayed in was on the ground floor of the property and was really nice. Comfortable reclining couch, really comfy bed, shower with fantastic water pressure and a really well stocked kitchen with absolutely everything you can think of/need. The location is brilliant - just off the high street (shops, restaurants, etc) and a ten minute walk to the beach and harbour. Despite the central location, the apartment is really quiet - we slept great - and there’s ample parking directly outside the building (but it is a very narrow street so drive slowly!). Checking in was simple - door code - and the host reached out to check how our stay was going after our first night, which was a nice touch. Overall a really lovely stay and a great place to stay in Nairn.

Couple of minor suggestions: - the apartment is quite dark and only having main lights isn’t the most relaxing / nicest atmosphere sometimes, so providing a lamp or two in the living room would be nice - every door in the apartment is a fire door, which I understand might relate to regulations, but they were all heavy and closed, and providing some door stops would be ideal as having to navigate these doors while moving around the apartment (especially when taking bags in and out) was a bit of a pain
