Douglas House Apartments

Very clean and central location. Apartment had everything that was required for stay. Parking was just outside and all was very peaceful. Apartment very close to beach and shops. Ideal for family with small children. Would highly recommend.

Facile da raggiungere, comodo parcheggio, selezionare check-in senza problemi. Ideale per una tappa nel viaggio in auto lungo la costa scozzese a circa 30min prima di Inverness. Appartamento spazioso e fornito di tutto.

Il divano letto potrebbe essere più confortevole. Le porte, tutte di tutte le stanze, che si chiudono da sole sono un pó fastidiose soprattutto se bisogna muoversi con le valige.

It was clean, well stocked for our needs and very good walking proximity to the beach (9mins) and the co op( 5 mins). The owners checked in each day to ensure we were doing ok and had everything we needed. Also it stayed relatively cool with a nice cross breeze through the suite.

Unfortunately the sofa bed is very uncomfortable. You can feel every spring and the frame and both people roll into the middle. A feather bed or some kind of addition to thicken up the mattress may help. Also being so close to the water the seagulls are abundant and don’t seem to have a bedtime. Closing the windows at night helps a bit. The doors within the suite all auto close and for the bathroom the fan does not work well with the high ceilings so the steam is really bad as you cant even leave the door open to air it out. As well there are 3 flights of stairs to the second floor suites which we were not expecting.

Had a great stay at Douglas House Apartments. Beautifully presented and immaculate accommodation and very well equipped Would definitely recommend it..

My husband and I stayed 3 nights with our two (big) dogs while visiting family in Nairn. Apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and well kitted out. The location was very handy, right in the centre of Nairn and a short walk from the beach and parks, with private parking available. Our host was extremely helpful in helping get a replacement key after I managed to lose the key after checking in. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing - it was great value and had everything we needed.
