Apartment close to Pavilion gardens

Close to town centre, had all the basics, large living and main bedroom. TV,WiFi etc. Heating easy to work. Clean and good value for money. We didn't cook, kitchen had basic equipment. There was a terrace you could sit on.

Dirty linen from previous guest on bedroom floor. Bunkbeds only suitable for children in small bedroom, so 1 sister had large bed and room, 1 had basic accommodation. Shower clogged with black hair, didn't drain easily.

Apartment is just what you want as a base for the peak district. Comfy with a kitchen to sort our breakfast and packed lunch. 10mins walk from Buxton centre.

Great location, very friendly host. Would recommend.

The Location was great.

Really disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment 😕 The whole property was in need of a deep clean. Hairs and stains found on the bed sheets when we arrived. Shower screen hadn't been cleaned. We had to clean the crockery before using anything. Outside furniture was filthy, previous people's left overs was left in the oven. I could go on !!

The location was brilliant, just 2 min walk to the pavilion garden, nice to have the kitchen facilities with coffee, tea and sugar, even though we took our own anyway. Pleased they had shampoo, conditioner and washing up liquid. There was games and books under the TV and WiFi worked.

The crockery and cutlery were not cleaned properly from previous guests, saucepan and frying pan also need replacing along with tin opener. Bathroom smelled strongly of bleach and window was stuck open. Heating took a long time to warm up. Seating area was a dissapointment as was the tight parking area. The neighbours above could be heard as there are thin ceilings. Overall was good and I would stay again as location was great, but maybe a bit overpriced for the overall condition.

Excellent to have two bedrooms and separate lounge with two sofas. We ate out, loads of eating opportunities within ten minutes, but there are good facilities in the flat. Off road parking a bonus and outside terrace nice for an evening drink. Two minutes on foot into lovely parks and the Buxton pavilion complex which has just been refurbished and is lovely. Host made prompt contact and was easy to access property. Property is in a quiet spot. By TV

A few plants on the first floor terrace would enhance it, but this doesn't affect your stay.
