Good sized house, comfy sofas

No towels provided No washing up sponge for us to use, and so I am not sure how the plates etc were washed that we had to use Some of the kitchen utensils were very dirty The double bed was really uncomfortable

We came for the Rugby and it was just a 15min walk to the stadium.

Carpets were old and worn. Cellar door should be locked off and WiFi didn’t work.

Very quirky inside. All rooms were good sizes including the bathroom. Good location.

Needs a bit of doing up in places. Traffic noise was bad during the night, but it is on a major road.

Very unusual, yet really nice house, near to Supermarkets and Robin Park. Really did enjoy our stay. Would recommend.

There was nothing we did not like.

Spacious for a couple.

On arrival discovered no towels were provided. Contacted property owner to be told "what do you expect for £80" and "find somewhere else (late afternoon) for the same cost". No towels was not stipulated on their website. We are experienced self managed travellers on a moderate budget and expect to have a hospitality industry standard maintained. The living room rug was a serious trip hazard with curled-up corners. Front and rear "gardens" untidy. Oven filthy. Not even a tea towel provided. Food left in cupboards and bins had not been emptied.

Rachel our host helped us when ever we needed help. Plus gave us sound advice. The house has old values and is unusual in a good way. We liked it a lot. Would stay there again.

The stairs are quite steep. But we coped and in the main got used to the quaintness of the House really quickly.

Really nice place to stay. Very unique house. Our host Rachel always replied to our queries. It was quiet too.

Nothing to like about this property

Food in bin on arrival, No extractor fan, Window sills filthy and damaged throughout, Rubbish in garden, Rubbish stashed in alcove, behind a fence in garden, Cobwebs throughout, Dust and dirt on all hard floors and stairs, Carpets dirty and stained, Tiles broken throughout property in all rooms, Broken floor tiles at back door hidden by a filthy stained piece of carpet, Kitchen cupboard greasy ( no extraction), Broken tv left in living room (new one is very small), No bowls for cereal etc, Damp and mould in double bedroom, Toilet seat broken (despite other reviews saying so), All cutlery and crockery is dirty, Conservatory door (left side) is hanging on by one hinge, sofas stained and the living room smells of cannabis.

It was close to the location we traveled for

First of all the property says secure garden, I couldn’t even let my two young children out in the garden because it was very dangerous, the guttering had snapped off about 15-20 foot up and was being held up by the downpipe, could drop any moment. There was also a basin half filled with water about 2 foot up off a wall, one tap on the basin and it would fall over, potentially injuring by children; so garden was out of bounds! Leading into the garden from inside was a down step inside, leading towards the rear French doors that had all the tiles cracks into small pieces and covered over by a off cut of carpet, again potentially injuring my two children. There was no channels on the tv so no tele to watch at all, the place stunk of cigarettes, there was cigarette burns in the bottom sheet of one of the beds, the double bed mattress hasn’t been changed in about 20 years as there was no springs left inside, and slept with massive potholes underneath. There was damp everywhere on the walls. Overall the place wasn’t cleaned or hasn’t been cleaned for ages, to the point where the hoover which was left at the property, actually needed hoovering itself. The most unclean property I’ve ever stayed in for along time and definitely will not be returning!
