Once inside, the apartment met our basic needs Water bottles in fridge upon arrival Proximity to good bars and restaurants Hosts did their best to remedy some of the issues with the rubbish strewn Council wheelie bins immediately outside the front door of the property and were quick to respond when we could not access the property on arrival Quality toiletries provided

Unfortunately the majority of the building is not under the control of the hosts and therefore we were hugely disappointed by the cleanliness and smell of the exterior and internal communal areas including the lift. Presence of rats immediately outside the communal property entrance. Proximity of derelict buildings to either side of the property. In the apartment itself, we would have appreciated bedside lamps (advertised), the hob works but is extremely scratched, the loo brushes and kitchen bin would benefit from a bleach between rentals and attention given to the water pressure in the (above bath) shower.

We didn't like much about this apartment. This was a last minute booking due to the previous reserved apartment in another location being cancelled 3 days prior to a major Expo that we were attending. Probably the best thing about it was that it was quiet..after the first night's activities on the floor above that went on until about 2.30am. The first approach to the building is a bit off putting with over full garbage bins and rubbish, an old scooter and in general, an untidy welcome.

The instructions weren't clear and we had to end up phoning, how to retrieve the key. Once in the elevator, there is a strong smell of something growing that is there every time you use it and in the foyer of the 4th floor a smell of rubbish. Inside looks as the photos suggest (except for the coffee plunger in the main photo) but if you lean on a wall in the main living area, clothes get covered in plaster dust. I found this unacceptable, especially for how much we paid for the place. There is only a half sized tea towel to dry dishes, the beds are soft and saggy, the towels are very thin. This is all ok if the price is cheap, but it wasn't. It ain't no mansion.
