Cartref - Fully equipped and stunning town flat

Ideal for a couple, all you need for a short stay. Far enough away so you're away from the noise but, close enough to walk into town. Nice courtyard area if the weather's good. The boathouse is a short walk away which is a cracking pub, especially for sitting outside. Really couldn't fault it

We loved EVERYTHING about this property. Visiting from New Zealand (albeit a Shrewsbury born and bred ex-pat), the property was clean, comfortable, warm, and well presented. We found the location ideal. Within 10 - 15 min walking distance of the town centre, a couple of pubs en route either way into the town centre. The owner (Steve) reached out during our stay, checking everything was okay, which it was. Some reviews refer to difficulty with parking and whilst it wasn't always possible to park in the road outside the premises, there was always parking in nearby Pengwern Road. Thanks for a thoroughly relaxing stay, Steve. I feel quietly confident we will return and stay again. Best - John & Kaye

Location was good.

It seemed like a clean apartment when we first entered but when we looked closer it wasn’t that clean. Some plates and cutlery were still dirty, only one towel was provided even though there were two of us, other towels were stored in a dirty storage cupboard eg hair and dirt on the floor inside the cupboard. There was also hair on top and in the bed. Perhaps from the throw that was on the end of the bed. There was also lots of mould on the shower tiles. The bed was also uncomfortable and we left a night early.

Lovely helpful hosts. They provided everything we needed and more. Very clean and spacious also great location.

Shrewsbury Accommodation One Breidden Our flat is very clean and suited to our needs. Everything is on one floor. The flat is entered through the kitchen with a small foyer . The bathroom is compact but everything works well. A chair would be nice in the foyer for taking off our boots. The kitchen is a nice size and the stove is very easy to operate. The bed is extremely comfortable, as are the pillows. Down the hall is the combination living/dining room. TV works well and there is a large window to let the sun in. Fortunately we were able to use the patio one day and enjoyed having a drink outside. The heating system works well thankfully as the apartment is relatively cool and we usually turn the heat up when we are home. It was a cool , somewhat rainy week.The owners left a generous welcome package - small bottle of wine, beer and gin along with two flapjacks and croissants. There was milk and butter in the fridge. We would definitely recommend this well located flat. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

Absolutely beautiful flat, close to town, 5 minutes walk to a lovely riverside pub. My only complaint is that I was woken at 5:15am (noise continued for about 25/30 minutes)by what seemed to be a herd of cattle running around above me-slightly annoying as I wanted a lie in and am recovering from illness and this was a chilled break away for me and my husband. Otherwise, like I said, beautiful flat with everything you need.
