We loved everything about it. It was convenient and close to town. No trouble with noise apart from the odd reveller on their way home. Parking card was a bonus but a bit of a walk to park. So parked in the big carpark by the railway station for £10.80 for 24 hours. Not a big outlay. Everything was in the apartment for eating in. Not that we did. But it was there. The welcome gifts of milk and other supplies were lovely. Was able to have a cuppa when we got in. All in all a lovely romantic getaway.

Not big deals but I have to say. The duvet set was a bit drab, I was expecting a crisp white set instead of the grey to set the room off with the bed throw as shown on the pictures. I'm not going into the realms of 'Four in a Bed'. However there were lots of places missed in dusting. Not obvious but they were there. The bedside mirror is an accident waiting to happen. Broken legs and sellotaped up, the mirror spindles have had a terrible repair. And it's not secured to the table. Another gripe is of course ventilation. This is mentioned in the description but that's a lot of air that someone else has breathed that hasn't been swapped out if you know what I mean? I understand the need to secure the windows and the perspex covers over the windows doubles the greenhouse effect inside. I'm not sure if the owner can do anything about that without permission. I also noted the mould growing along the lower half of the windows behind the perspex. Not nice but not accessible to the cleaner. Someone previous has yanked the curtains to hard and pulled them off the hooks? Looks messy. Even though I've listed many gripes, it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the property. After all it's a place to crash at the end of a fabulous day out. These are just things I noted. However it's impossible to tackle some of the problems without shutting down and sorting them. I fully understand this and they only have 4 hours to clean and repair.

Beautiful apartment, with excellent amenities in a great location. Attentive, friendly host. Will definitely return and recommend.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, perfect for a short break. The location is within a 5 minute walk to the main town & the host is extremely attentive and helpful.

Already raised with the host as the TVs updated whilst we were there, but if you are looking at using streaming services such as Netflix, demand players during your stay, I would bring a firestick / laptop as the TVs are not compatible. Not an issue for us but it could be for other guests!
