Esk Cottage - Cyanacottages

Enjoyed the secluded/covered hot tub as we were able to use it, without the weather affecting it. Good location to walk not only to the town centre but also to the Abby.

Shower had a small problem with both heads working at the same time. Overall very small issue that could be easily fixed. Parking is difficult but due to the location this is not something that the cottage could fix easily.

The view is so amazing, the location is wonderful and the hot tub is lovely to come back to after a day of walking round Whitby and seeing the Abbey. It's a modern cottage and is nicely decorated. Had no problem about their being another cottage above us, only heard a few footsteps and it's a nice quiet area. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well! The owner is very helpful and kind. Thank you so much for our wonderful break away!

Only a couple of minor things - some areas of wear and tear that might need looking at soon. We struggled a little with working the microwave as we have never seen one like it before but figured it out eventually. The front door key sticks sometimes.

I thought it was quite expensive for the one night. We did go in August and the weekend of the Regatta. It was clean and tidy and the hot tub was lovely but the price I paid I thought it was a little expensive. We also had a family above us while in the hot tub who wasn’t the quietest, so a chilled night in the hot tub which we had planned lasted approx 40mins, before we called it a night. I would however stay again if I got it for a good price
