"If you want to relax to the sound of birds singing and the river flowing then this is the place to be."

Our break at River Cottage was excellent, the property was very clean, very well equipped and the peace and tranquility was just perfect for a relaxing time. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.

Het was een super leuk huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi gelegen aan een riviertje. En de hottub was echt super! Zeker na een flinke wandeling was het fijn om even lekker te kunnen ontspannen.

We loved everything about this property. The grounds were beautiful, lovely having the river on our door step with places to sit and my little boy loved the swing and trampoline too. The hot tub was the perfect edition. 2 minute drive from the village with everything we needed for our stay. Will 100% be back.

"Beautiful river cottage with amazing views"

Beautiful cottage located right in front of a lovely river, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds tweeting. There were so many nice little touches like swings, benches, and even a trampoline. The hot tub had an amazing view and was perfect for relaxing. The house itself was spotless and had everything you could need for your stay. The bed was super comfortable, and there were plenty of games to play too. John was a great host and his dogs were lovely as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was spotless and although small, was very spacious. Decking at the front overlooks the river to give a very relaxing, chilled feel. Bed was very comfortable and shower was nice and powerful and bathroom has underfloor heating which is always great to have. Very peaceful area so you get a good nights sleep ! Property is 2 mins from Drumnadrochit or a nice 15 minute walk ! Within 30 mins each way you have Fort Augustus which is beautiful to visit and Inverness in opposite direction with beautiful places to hike with a short drive. Hosts were excellent and very friendly and polite.

Property had no faults at all !
