River Cottage Hot tub spa

A lovely cottage with river at the bottom of the grounds. It was well situated, close to attractions. We enjoyed the hot tub. The cottage was immaculate, with lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom and air con in the living area. We had a fabulous visit.

Butter and jam were left for us in the fridge, which we really appreciated. A little milk would have been good as we arrived in the evening after a long journey in heavy rain.

The cottage is beautiful in a secluded area and is surrounded by nature. We enjoyed our stay here, felt very relaxed. Catherine and John couldn't be more helpful and are very kind. We highly recommend it here if you need to recharge your batteries and don't want to be somewhere that's busy.

La casa es muy bonita, cerca del lago Ness y situada al lado de un río. Todo estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables, se nos averió el coche en el camino al alojamiento y al comunicárselo enseguida nos llamaron para ofrecer información sobre desplazamientos en taxi. Lo recomendaría para una visita a la zona del lago Ness.

Noise from next door, even after midnight.

The owner was really helpful before check in and the location is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything very clean and comfortable on the inside and it has everything you'd need for a good stay.

The location was perfect, beside a river and secluded, but close enough to Drumnadrrochit to get shopping (gifts and food) and eat out. There's a balcony to enjoy the views from, as well as seating down by the river. The cottage was small and comfy, perfect for me and my husband. The hosts were lovely and friendly, their dog too!

We honestly couldn't find anything that needed improving.

What a fabulous place to stay. We travelled with a young infant and this place was ideal. The property itself has everything you'd need, with an equipped kitchen and comfortable shower and beds. There are loads of amenities nearby, and having the riverbank on the property with the various seating areas, was just superb. The only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. We'll be back!
