Tide House Seaside Holiday Cottage

Beautiful homely feel away from home, felt so comfortable could have easily stayed for longer, and the bath, 5 stars just for that! .

Unfortunatley the internet was down effecting our noones fault, just one of those things.

perfect location right in the centre of shaldon village

parking was difficult as shaldon isn't the best village for parking spaces. Also not many TV channels to watch in those rainy days.

Lovely quaint little cottage. A bottle of Prosecco and chocolates were waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely touch from Eve & Mike. Close to all amenities.The cottage was clean, the bathroom was big which I didn't expect. I would definitely recommend it.

There is nothing I didn't like really, I guess the only thing that would make it better for people staying would be to have its own parking spot but it didn't hinder our stay as there is parking nearby and you can park outside at night.

Great location, spacious clean, well equipped property

Quite cold, old sash windows let cold in. Bed not very comfortable.

Some of the shelves were a bit high and a small step stool would have been helpful

The cottage was based in a great location. It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and tidy. It was also really nice to have an outside area to relax in. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco and chocolates were much appreciated. Eve and Mike were responsive and generous hosts. Shaldon itself is a little gem of a village and this cottage is very central to the beach and shops. It was a good choice for a family holiday.

Sofas in the sitting room weren't the most comfortable.

Spotlessly clean, good location, not noisy other than the seagulls (more of a problem if you sleep in the loft). Excellent response to any problems by the hosts who sorted things out immediately.

Parking can be tricky as it's on the road outside and limited to only 1 hour at times. I mention this as we were caught out thinking the property had a dedicated parking space. It does not. Do take the outside keys in with you, so that the lower apartment doesn't lock you in, being unaware that your keys had remained in the key safe, on the other side of the locked door. Sofas were a bit too soft and squishy.

The property was lovely and the location was excellent.

The location near the butchers and baker and a short walk to the beach was perfect
