Apartment 8 The Landings

We loved the location and the facilities were great. Lovely well appointed kitchen and great bathroom.

We couldn't get the TV remote to change the channel but we weren't staying long enough for it to be an issue.

Great location. Well equipped. Comfortable bed.

Nothing.

I'd forgotten about the little welcome basket they provide that contains some fresh cake from the cafe around the corner. There's other basics tucked away in the kitchen as well, a pint of milk and some oil and salt and pepper, those things you might not pack but realise you need. I also really love the table outside the front of the apartments where you can sit with coffee and watch the sea.

Very homely feeling from the moment we walked through the door. Beautifully furnished, with excellent kitchen facilities and equipment.

Bedding could have been slightly better quality. Everything else was perfect, and one of the nicest self-catering properties we have ever stayed in anywhere!

Lovely warm spacious flat on second floor at back of building. Spotless living room/kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom. Street parking outside. Beach moments from the door. Milk in fridge plus hamper containing Maltesers and drinks. Good communication from the owners regarding access, and to let us know we could let ourselves into the property early - especially as we were only travelling from Whitby, this was much appreciated, thank you. The flat was very peaceful and a cosy, a welcome place to return to after busy days exploring the beach/town/Scarborough.

Nothing really, apartment was great but welcome folder stated home-made goodies would be in the hamper - there weren't any! Guess that's because owners were away. (Also no dishwasher tablets but we didn't create that much washing up)
