Lovely place, lovely people, very welcoming - even fresh baked bread and cupcakes waiting for us! Couldn’t have asked for more and would love to come back one day.

It is a beautiful old building - with all the advantages of this and a few of the snags. The building creaks at night and there is noise transmission between floors. It didn’t spoil our stay at all, but if you are someone who needs silence to sleep it might be worth knowing.

Home from home, lovely hosts and so friendly and accommodating. Welcome pack with homemade bread, eggs and bacon was very much appreciated together with the homemade cupcakes. Great facilities, quiet location. Couldn’t have really asked for more.

"A very pleasant and relaxing stay where we intend to stay again when visiting family."

Our hosts kindly provided us with 4 eggs, 4 rashers of bacon, a loaf, small pat of butter and a pint of milk.
