Village Green - Kingsbarns

It's a very spacious house with good bathroom facilities and beds. Also has a large dining kitchen. It's on a quiet road with only a small amount of traffic. Ideal location for the Kingsbarns Inn and walking to Kingsbarns Beach as well as visiting St Andrews, Crail and other villages nearby

Our stay would have been enhanced by having a few more items in the kitchen. Extra mugs, serving bowls, a larger tea pot, to name a few. The living room seating is so soft thst I found it really uncomfortable. Better quality seating is required

The property was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable, a home from home. Free Wi-Fi worked all over the property, there was sky TV in the lounge The kitchen dinner was huge and well equipped with everything you needed to make a full cooked breakfast or roast dinner. There was a very informative folder with all information on items in the house, although the information on the bins was misleading as we didn’t have all the different coloured bins available!

Not a dislike, but more of a suggestion - 1. non slip shower mats for the showers, 2. TV in the kitchen dinner so whilst preparing dinner you had something to watch

The accommodation was fabulous, lovely rooms, clean, and it was quiet

We needed more hooks for coats and bags and the living room couch seats need a bit of support as they were sagging.

Beds were super comfy and plenty of pillows. Lots of hot water and nice bathrooms. Location was great. Large table in dining area was fantastic for socialising and kitchen area was huge. Great for a family.

The docor was like that of a hotel room and it felt like ALL the art work came from The Range. It was nice but not very personal. Too many large ornaments on tables and sideboards which were in the way. I would have liked art by local artists and something that reflected the local village and the sea so it was more personal. The lighting in the showers was not good and it was impossible to put on makeup there. A shelf in the shower would also be helpful. The back garden felt unusable and the fake grass was very tacky. Some outdoor seating with a table, some flowers and a fence to give a little priavte area to sit outside would be nice.

Lovely warm house for our stay. Really nice decor. Good facilities. Easy instructions from the letting agent. Very nice community run Inn within walking distance with good food. St Andrews, Crail, Anstruther etc very close by car.

Minor issues Shower cubicles very slippy underfoot. No PIN provided for Sky TV When sitting at dressing table stool, it's too low to see yourself in the mirror.
