Sea Esta

The host has provided a great flat setting for a family to enjoy the surrounding area. The flat was very clean and spacious with every facility provided for a family. The host obviously caters very well for his customer base and has provided a good setting for a larger group, with everything provided. However, see below:-

I had a very hard time finding the property. The flat is on the top floor of the said building and so I spent time driving around looking for house numbers which didn't make sense. I don't think I had been told that the flat was a top floor flat and so I hadn't seen the number for the flat. I also had a lot trouble with the shower. The temperature kept turning from boiling hot to freezing cold, so it was very unpleasant. There was nothing I could do to change this despite trying. I also didn't really like the housing estate setting. I should have looked more closely before booking. The images on the booking form did not really make this clear. I walked into Anstruther through Cellar Dyke and while I don't walk that fast, it was a 20-minute walk, not a five-minute walk as stated. It would have been a five-minute run, for sure. The blanket on the bed was very thin and I was cold. The above factors made me decided to cut my stay short. I had booked for two nights but only stayed one and left early in the morning. All of the above are personal views. The flat was not to my taste but I am sure others would love it. The host does a good job supplying very decent accommodation for a good price, so while I should really give Sea Esta a 10//10 score for this reason, I left early and found a hotel more suited to my needs.

Clean flat with good facilities and nice decor, in a good location with easy parking

The bed was not long enough and found it uncomfortable because of the wooden frame. The shower was faulty, the water ran too hot and then too cold. This was reported to the owner. The sofa in the lounge wasn’t very comfortable but this may be due to being a sofa bed. Check out time is very early, should be at least midday.

Great location even went for a dip in the sea pool.
