Cosy town centre cottage

Clean , comfortable, minutes walk into town ,

Only 1 little thing, could do with curtains on the bedroom window as light wakes you up too early.

The place was a gem in the middle of Peebles.

The cottage was very comfortable and obviously recently modernised. The lounge was well done out and looked great. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The bedroom was large with plenty of storage space and a really comfortable super king size bed. It was down a really quiet vennel where no cars are allowed but only 50 yards from the main road. We didn't find it a problem taking our luggage from the nearest, free( apart from a Saturday) car park. It was a 3-4 minute walk from the cottage. We will definitely use this cottage again

The location was excellent both to explore the surrounding area and to access places to eat in the evening.

Stairs - as I'm 78 they were just too steep. And I would have preferred a small table to eat off but that's just me!

Facilities are excellent, in a high standard of repair and presentation, everything was there there were some good extras which were unanticipated. Instructions on how to find the property, enter it and where to park were very helpful

Very little to criticise, a small remark, we couldn't get the shower as hot as some of the party would have liked, but it was perfectly warm and useable as far as I was concerned (but that was on fully hot), a second key would have been appreciated as with 3 adults this presented some logistical challenges
