Lovely cottage and very comfortable with everything you could need.

Location was fantastic, the host took the time to prepare a short booklet telling you about places to eat, local walks etc, plenty of local advertising to what is around the locale.

Lovely situation. Outdoor seating /dining area looking over lovely grounds and trees. Very helpful owner. Everything clean and in good condition. Lots of places to visit.

Would have been good if we could have walked to a pub. Also, a couple of outdoor chairs/recliners would have been good as the weather was fabulous and we sat outside all the time. Picnics table fine for meals though.

Instructions leading us to the cottage were very clear and entry to the grounds was via a coded gate. As soon as we entered we were surrounded by well kept lawns and gardens. The property far exceeded our expectations and was spotlessly clean. We had our own patio area with picnic bench. The host met us and made us feel very welcome and suggested a few places to visit, eat. There were also suggestions in the cottage. We are cyclists and it was an easy ride into Henley-in-Arden for food and some lovely cycling around the area. We also visited 2 National Trust properties, the needle museum and spent a few hours walking in the Arrow Valley Country Park which has plenty of free parking (or an easy cycle if you prefer). An excellent base for either a relaxing break or visiting attractions

The property had been very well modernised and was very comfortable to stay in. All rooms felt light and airy, there was an efficient central heating syatem, all appliances were modern and worked very well.

The shower temperature took a while to settle down and because the shower head was fixed it was difficult to set the heat initially. A shower head on a flexible hose would have been much easier.

Location was great, lovely and quiet and just where we wanted to be. The cottage was cosy and nice and warm. Perfect for a short stay.

It would have benefitted from a few more items in the kitchen such as a potato peeler and little tiered steamer as only 2 rings on the hob - if you do self catering. There is a smell of drains in the bathroom that needs dealing with.
