Grassmarket Old Town Boutique Apartment

We really enjoyed the location and being right on grass market. Everything was in walking distance. We also liked the decor and the washer and dryer was helpful as well.

Although we liked the decor, it did feel a little crowded and cluttered. Dining room table had to be cleared prior to use for example. Plants had to be moved in order to make space for suitcases. Also the shower curtain was a bit small for the bathroom. A second added curtain would have been nice to help keep water in. Only small portion of tub actually had curtain.

Very close to attractions and dining options. Apartment was lovely with lots of Scottish detail which made it special. Great to have own cooking facilities with a well equipped kitchen. The detailed instructions on how to use the stove, microwave and washing machine were fantastic!

Unfortunately the bed was a little too soft for me (history of back, hip pain) but I'm sure would be fine for most.

The location is close to the Royal Mile, train station, Victoria St. & the Edinburgh Castle. And the apartment is very spacious & comfortable & homey. We enjoyed coming back to it after a busy day of sightseeing.

Didn’t realize the Fringe Festival was in August so everything was more expensive & more crowded. I would’ve chosen a different time if I had known about it.

Lovely apartment with everything you needed in a great location. Comfy bed, quiet and windows you can open for warmer days/nights. Thank you for being so accommodating for us to drop our bags off earlier

Shower is very small over a bathtub, just mentioning this for older people or people who might find it difficult to step into a bathtub or larger people who might find it hard to shower with the shower curtain surrounding them.

The location was just perfect! And the apartment was super quaint and cosy with amazing Scottish flares.

Everything was amazing so there is nothing really, but the smallest thing we can think of was that we ran out of toilet paper, paper towel and tissues so having backup supplies of those handy would have been even better.

The location was fantastic!! It was very convenient, perfect for balancing the Fridge and sightseeing. It was clean, spacious, and cute! We were impressed with how quiet it was inside even with all the hustle and bustle outside. We were able to easily coordinate luggage drop on arrival because we arrived before check-in. Overall, we loved this stay and would highly recommend it!
