Stylish Central Watford 2 Bedroom and Sofa Bed Apartment with Free Parking

Beds were comfortable - Great mattress and enough pillows. bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water, sitting room/ dining room was big, kitchen was ok. Netflix was available. Great that there was parking available.

Outside: lots of rubbish and cigarette stubs, sense of neglect. Two abandoned cars in car park. Front door: door handle was loose and front door could not be locked. Door to flat: light not working and mattress and furniture in corridor. Entrance hall: no hooks or shelves. Bathroom: loo seat is too small for toilet bowl, bin is rusty and broken, shower is leaking. Loo roll holder is loose. Bedroom 1: bottom drawer of chest of drawers is broken Bedroom 2: one small bedside table; otherwise no hooks or shelves. Kitchen: advertised to have a dishwasher, but there was none. Basics mostly there, but only one wine glass and no cafetière/coffee maker. Side of unit facing the dining table need to be repaired. Dining area: table is fine, but the chairs are very uncomfortable. The chairs are all ripped, it have been covered with a stretchy fabric, which has stains on some of the chairs. Living room area: window is blown, one blind could not be raised. The. Offer table was so wobbly we couldn’t use it.

Nice and clean

Location was great, 5 minute walk to the train station and Watford centre. Apartment was spacious and satisfactory. Contact with owner was easy and prompt.

Shower is not suitable if you’re over 5ft tall!! It’s too low on the wall. Right next to the train line so quite noisy.

The apartment is very clean, has a good size and all appliances were working perfectly. The common areas of the building were messy, but inside of the apartment is completely different, everything was organized and well maintained (with exception of a coffee table and shower head that could use some maintenance). We've booked this place while on a family trip to visit the Warner Bros Studios, and parking area was a key factor for us.

Even though the location was good in terms of getting access to the places we wanted to visit, I need to say that due to its close proximity with the train tracks, you will experience some noise inside the apartment.

buzzing electric sockets, most of them are doing this, and plugs getting hot when being used -the whole cleanliness of the property (dusty, dirty floors, filth down the radiator, filthy kettle that needed to be rinsed thoroughly before use) -no sheet for the sofa bed and no cover for the duvet -clothes line with someone's washing on outside our flat door -really noisy outside the room -very wobbly coffee table -main door of entry to the building would not lock -noise from the train which runs until 1/2am

Clean and spacious apartment. Secure parking. Good access instructions.

The apartment is right next to a major railway line. It is very noisy and the whole apartment shakes when trains pass. Even with earplugs sleeping was impossible until approximately 1.45am when trains stop. The apartment is also quite tired and needs some maintenance eg lamp in living room, some plug sockets don't work, cooker is broken ( grill does not work ) etc.

Clean and easy. Good access to train and bus.

Could perhaps have said something about the noise from the trains running by.

Contact with the owner was super smooth; the instructions how to pick up the keys and get to the apartment were clear. The flat is nice, clean, with all neccesary amenities; it is located in a walking distance from the Watford train station and around 15 min from the center. I would use it again!

The only thing I would change in the apartment would be to have the electic outlet next to the sink in the bathroom-makes it easier for the girls:)
