Stylish Central Watford 2 Bedroom and Sofa Bed Apartment with Free Parking

Great flat

Had all the facilities we wanted for our 2 day stay. Beds comfortable, towels the right size, and the rooms were warm as it was during the recent cold snap. Location is great for the train station

Shower in the bathroom needs sorting. The head had more water coming out of the side rather than the head itself. Also, you need to be under 5ft tall to get wet. The head also sends water onto the wall rather than into the bath

Location was ideal for where work was situated. Easy access to accommodation and parking was accessible.

The downside to the property was where it was situated. There is a trainline running near the accommodation and the trains run every 6 minutes or so which in turn gave interrupted sleep.

Location very convenient for train to London, able to walk to shops. Convenient for Harry Potter

Description - stylish, no ... tired, yes. Description more than the reality. Stove rings, almost impossible to use back two. Knobs very worn. We stayed twice, freezer needed defrosting on first visit and still needed defrosting 5 weeks later. No chopping boards meant cutting on benchtop. Some of the dining chairs are so rickerty that they are likely to collapse when sat on. Pillows were the worst we have come across anywhere in the world. At the other end the towels were good.

It was close to our family. The apartment is pleasant enough. The beds were comfy. On the whole it was clean (just the overflow in bathroom sink that let it down.)

The communal hall had no lights and was pitch black at night and dark in the day. A resident said this had been like this for a long while. I had advised the host that my mum has Parkinson’s so this was a large issue for us. There was furniture stacked outside the front door which made access bit difficult for my mum. The window at front of the block (separate flat) was completely smashed (looking at other reviews since we stayed there I can see that it’s been broken for several months. ) The secure entry was broken so no security. The shower was hand hold only as so low on the wall. The overflow in bathroom sink was filthy (otherwise the property was clean) The beds are small double double. There is no dishwasher but this was ticked as being in the facilities. The apartment is right next to the railway so was noisy. The windows look out onto a sad looking car park at the back and overgrown bushes up half the windows on the side (bedrooms) I don’t feel that the property was worth £350 for 2 nights in October with the above issues compared to other apartments we have stayed in.

Great location

Excellent location close to Watford Junction (which is within Oyster zone). Two nice pubs next door and friendly staff.

Amenities need a bit of a refresh (coffer maker would be a good idea). Shower needs fixing and mounting to the wall.

Lovely rooms, nice spacious living room, nice kitchen

Shower was only draw back as it’s half way up the wall so to stand under it you need to hold it or sit down in the bath
