Just outside of Winchester, near supermarkets and a lovely chippy, good location, perfect as a base for visiting family over Christmas

One of the towels was soiled. Bathroom door handle needs fixing. Shower room smells damp.

The location was good. The pub next door is lovely. At first glance the property is nice. Parking.

We booked a little getaway to celebrate our engaement and wish we had stayed at home. I have lost count of the time that I have messaged and called now and still had no reply. We checked out of the paddock a day early after a horrible stay. The only reason we stayed the night is because we couldn't get accommodation in town until the following evening. Our main issue was we had no hot water in the shower since arrival. I contacted the property within an hour of arrival to ask for someone to help with this but still have had no response.  The room was dirty and so were the utensils, glasses and towels. Upstairs guests were like a herd of elephants (I apprecaite there is little that can be done about this). The heating was so high and even after putting the radiators on the lowest setting it was still unbearable with the windows open. We both left ill.  Such a shame because the property really could be lovely. It is a cute little place. But the filth and lack of hot water along with ZERO customer service is inexcusable.
