Dear I am writing to give you feedback on our recent stay at Mermaid Quay. As you can tell from the guest book we enjoyed our weekend. However since returning the four of us have been laid low by a tummy virus - the children were worst impacted and missed a weeks school. I have missed a weeks work as im employed by the NHS and could not risk contagion . Whilst we cannot be 100% sure we suspect that the hot tub was the source. We used it on the Friday evening but on the Saturday in daylight realised that the water was cloudy. Some additional chemicals were added, but it was not “sparkly “ clear. I would suggest a complete regular change of water . A minor point was the dishwasher, which did not clean. We loaded it on Saturday left it apparently running in the evening. Unloading on the Sunday morning everything was as dirty as it went in. So a quick hand wash before we left, Thanks for reading this and I will be interested in your feedback Best regards

Was let down by booking.com as no book in detail where given making arrival and finding the property challenging. However a quick call to the host solved this he was amazing

The apartment is beautiful with stunning views! nice enclosed little garden perfect for the dog. The location is great, access to some fabulous coastal walks and a short walk from the never-ending Pendine beach. The hot tub at the end of long walks was definitely appreciated! Really enjoyed our stay!

There’s nothing to not like, perfect for the pair of us and our little dog!

"Great for a short weekend break"

Great area, easy to get to, very comfortable, perfect for us and the dog. Great directions and property info. Beds were perfect and comfy. Everything seemed fresh and clean.

Generally clean but a lot of cobwebs everywhere which I cleaned up: above the door and blinds, behind the settee by the heating dial, above settee, in bathroom. Property seems well kept but looking a bit tired in places like the bathroom.
