I really enjoyed my stay in the shepherds hut. I was greeted on my arrival by four lambs, sitting at the steps of the caravan. The caravan is on a working croft, run bu Viv, who clearly loves her livestock. In the morning I was invited to feed one of the lambs, which was great fun! Its in a beautiful location with walks just on the doorstep. The facilities are basic, but there is everything you need; cooking stove, shower, wee fridge, and oil filled plug in radiator. I was chilly at night (it was -2 at night), and would bring my own sleeping bag if I stayed again .... which I hope to do!

A very liveable space with all this bikepacker needed. Superb views in the distance and close. Close being free range animals and a working croft. Can see why it is so popular.

We had such a lovely time staying in the gypsy hut (one adult plus 2 children). The space was small but really well thought out. We used three beds for sleeping and one to keep our bags. The camping stove was great and we also used the small fridge. Viv was really welcoming and we loved meeting some of the croft's newest lambs

Stunning views. Everything prepared.

Postcode covers a wide area of houses. Just give a distance uo the road measured from the village.

Price, Location, Ease

Could have done with another blanket this time, didn't bring a sleeping bag, but coming into the summer, or with a sleeping bag, shouldn't be a problem.
