Viv was lovely, friendly and helpful. The gypsy hut was immaculate with stunning views. Some lovely wee touches. Hoping to stay again and visit Haggis and Hamish :-D

It was a very wet and cold night with no gas to make hot chocolate for my grandson and the heater didn't work

"Aa gem in the hils"

Amazing location with incredible views. Amazing host who recommended local walks & sights. Loved meeting the dogs and chickens. Very peaceful.

For me, double bed space was a bit firm, but husband found it fine.

"We had one night stay so it was good and location was amazing and easy to find."

Location is good, it was clean and almost everything was there. Blankets were also provided. Just for sleeping it was good as we were four with kids. Lower beds were not very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

"Perfect glamping style stop , best value and top location . A must for anyone passing!!"

10.0

Easy and instant access !! Everything we needed for a nights stay in terms of bed (long enough for really tall people too!) sink, gas camping stove, two rings and grill. Pots pans, tea coffee and sugar! Water bottle filled ready. Adjacent loo and shower well equipped, lean and very nice. More like a home bathroom!! Gypsy van was well insulated, nice stable door, covered outdoor seats and two steps well made. Excellent double glazing and black out blinds!! More frills than a hotel room, but basically a no frills basic stop, with a rural glamping feel and amaenaties. Sleeping bags provided and cushions , but I’d take your own extra bedding . Mugs were ideal as well insulated ,great if breezy or cool and sitting out with a cuppa!! Washing up liquid, tea towels, loo rolls, basic towels ,cutlery and utensils, pots and pans all there. But views, relaxed ambiance and quiet location priceless!! Best value for £ ever in a nights stop Additional great experiences was a lit rainbow (like a bat signal) cute puppies on site and chickens and lambs all at hand but no over invasive . Plenty of wildlife to see, hares ,birds etc ideally close to our main route A9 , but not at all intruded upon by that . So ideal stop for main highland routes . Still super quiet esp at night , not even a cockrell.!! 💞 Unique and charming .

A missing tin opener!! I suspect there has been one as so well equipped , maybe “lost” to previous visitors , but we were able to ask for anything we needed and didn’t need one so for us no issue .
