Gypsy hut

I liked the actual hut and the company.

Couldn’t figure out how to turn on the gas camping stove. Could use a mat as when we arrived and during it was raining heavily. I used a towel to clean the floor so that got pretty dirty. The window at the back bangs so loud wakes you up with a start in high wind and this in on a hill. I think the surrounds and view are lovely but there was like an old hoover and other paraphernalia around which detracts a little.

I liked the fact that the hut was exactly as described. Basic accomodation but spotless and so was the communal tilet and shower. People who own the property were very friendly and guided my family and I on walks, things to do in the area etc

The actual hut is fine and there are many nice touches that indicate there is people are trying hard to provide a good service, However the other weaknesses can take the shine off it.

The site is a mess, in a scruffy muddy farm area next to some very shoddy buildings. By luck there was somebody there and they said they would-be back soon to answer any problems. They never returned. One control tap on the cooker was missing. No matches or instruction to bring any,

Really nicely laid out for its size and price.

The table was a little unsteady and awkward to sit at.

Refreshingly simple, friendly collies, chickens, and sheep (like to share the porch)

The hut was clean, comfy and very well equipped. Chilly outside but we were warm with the heater. Toilet and shower were also clean. A lovely peaceful place. Chickens wandering around outside were friendly and a sheep with 2 lambs came to visit too. Very handy co-op a 2 min drive away.

the hut is in an excellet place with very picturesque views and being on a working farm it was lovely being greeted by the sheep. the facilities were very nice better than expected

The location above the town. Good view. After shutting the ventilation shutter, the place was warm. I stayed in August 2024.

The whole bathroom was dirty. Rubbish bin in the bathroom was full of rubbish. Very thin mattress. Towels were thrown into under the sink space. So unsure about the cleanliness of the towels. After reading other people's comments, I brought and used my own sleeping bag. Sorry about this review but my honest opinion.
